30 Day Snap #2 | Lemonade

Hello there beauties!
So if you don't remember what The 30 Day Snap is, click here for a little explanation.
Also, it is not too late to join in on the fun!
This morning I went to Target to get a few bits and bops with my mum and sister. I got a box of Lemon Zest Luna Bars and a box of White Chocolate Macadamia Luna Bars. I got a new liquid eyeliner pot from Elf and a new makeup mirror that opens into three panels and has four different lighting options. I also got more circular cotton pads that I use to take off makeup and a new Dove deodorant. 

 After, we went to our local farmer's market to get fruit, veg, and deli meat and cheese for this coming week. Outside of the market they sell freshly squeezed lemonade and it was the perfect day for one!

 Now I am home eating some Sabra hummus as a late lunch.

DIY Crafts: Notebook & Mason Jars

Hello there!  So lately I have become addicted to Pinterest (again). As I am preparing to go back to school, I have been feeling really inspired to try out some DIY projects for my dorm! 1) This first DIY is to spruce up a regular old spiral notebook and make it awesome.  I got the idea from a pin of Melisa from  Pie 'N' The Sky 's triangle love notebook. When I saw it, I immediately thought, I can do that - I should give it a whirl! All you need is... - a notebook (mine had a plain black cover and was $1 from Target) - glue (I used Rubber Cement but a glue stick would work perfectly fine as well) - scissors - photos / magazine clippings / cardboard ** - Mod Podge and a brush  ** I used snippings from National Geographic, Vogue, and Seventeen, as well as construction paper to write lyrics from my fav song. I also took my 'Mylo Xyloto' Coldplay album and cut a pattern from the insert in the CD with photos of them playing at concerts.  N

Recipe | Watermelon Rice Krispies

June is here which means SUMMER HAS FINALLY ARRIVED! I can't wait to make fun summer inspired recipes for the next two months before I leave for England. I will share as much as I can with you and hopefully inspire you to try these out as well. My little sister and I saw Ingrid from MissGlamorazzi do these awesome watermelon inspired Rice Krispie treats in one of her most recent videos and we immediately knew we had to make them! She made a very healthy version but we knew our brothers and our dad would want to eat these so we went old school and used the traditional marshmallows and butter routine :) Ingrid always posts really yummy and exciting recipes that I definitely want to try. Flower Love

My little sister Mary, who is almost 13, makes headbands, bows, and clips for her hair out of cut material from old shirts and cheap fake flowers from the store... and they are amazing !! She is already a beauty/fashion guru in the making. I feel so inspired by her to be more creative with styling my hair, while saving a bit of money :) So here are some photos of her clips and headbands: Flower Love was inspired by a photo we saw on Pinterest*. She immediately wanted to recreate the look with a fishtail braid when we saw it because she just bought some daisies that looked quite similar. Here's me casually sitting in some grass modeling her work... (Secret: I was actually wearing boxer shorts underneath this dress and a car filled with attractive guys  drove by... I was kind of maybe a bit mortified because when standing you could definitely see the boxers. Needless to say, we ran and hid).
