My Sunday Bag Essentials

Hello lovely people!

So I thought I would do a quick peek inside my typical Sunday bag when I am just going around running errands. My bag this Sunday has a few key essentials...

- Eyedrops and my prescription glasses are a must. I have pretty sensitive eyes and although I wear contacts almost everyday, I like to have my glasses with me just in case, as well as some irritation relieving rewetting eye drops. 
- NARS pressed powder and a Real Techniques Multitask brush for when my nose goes shiny, as it ALWAYS does. 
- My iPhone 5S
- Essie Nail Polish in Bikini So Teeny. 
- EOS... I have four of the flavors and I am almost completely done with this one in Strawberry.
- Stila Eyeliner to touch up when my eyes have eaten every bit of eyeliner up on my water line.
- Kate Moss Rimmel lipstick in 103 which is legitimately the prettiest color on me that I own. 
- Soap & Glory Hand Food. I ran out of my little bottle of this and invested in a bigger one... I still throw it in my bag despite its larger size. It smells so good and does the job.
- Bobby Pins... crucial.
- Earbuds (usually just in case I happen to need them).
- Agatha Christie's The Murder at the Vicarage, which is my current read. 

Yep so that's it. I will probably do a few instillations of a look inside my bag for different events and days so look forward to that. Happy Father's Day and I hope you have an amazing day and coming week :)

    Lovely post! I carry bobby pins in my bag, too, but always misplace them. I don't understand how they disappear so easily! Congratulations on reaching 200 followers on Bloglovin'! :)

      Hey thank you so much! Since you have blogspot as well, all you do is:
      1) "Layout"
      2) "Add a Gadget"
      3) Choose 'Image"
      4) Copy the link to your Instagram and paste it into the area "Link"
      5) Upload a photo - feel free to save the same photo I have and upload that one - I found that image online a while ago by searching for button images.
      6) Click save and it should appear in your sidebar for people to just click on and it will take them to the link.

      Hope that works :)

Hello there!  So lately I have become addicted to Pinterest (again). As I am preparing to go back to school, I have been feeling really inspired to try out some DIY projects for my dorm! 1) This first DIY is to spruce up a regular old spiral notebook and make it awesome.  I got the idea from a pin of Melisa from  Pie 'N' The Sky 's triangle love notebook. When I saw it, I immediately thought, I can do that - I should give it a whirl! All you need is... - a notebook (mine had a plain black cover and was $1 from Target) - glue (I used Rubber Cement but a glue stick would work perfectly fine as well) - scissors - photos / magazine clippings / cardboard ** - Mod Podge and a brush  ** I used snippings from National Geographic, Vogue, and Seventeen, as well as construction paper to write lyrics from my fav song. I also took my 'Mylo Xyloto' Coldplay album and cut a pattern from the insert in the CD with photos of them playing at concerts.  N

Recipe | Watermelon Rice Krispies

June is here which means SUMMER HAS FINALLY ARRIVED! I can't wait to make fun summer inspired recipes for the next two months before I leave for England. I will share as much as I can with you and hopefully inspire you to try these out as well. My little sister and I saw Ingrid from MissGlamorazzi do these awesome watermelon inspired Rice Krispie treats in one of her most recent videos and we immediately knew we had to make them! She made a very healthy version but we knew our brothers and our dad would want to eat these so we went old school and used the traditional marshmallows and butter routine :) Ingrid always posts really yummy and exciting recipes that I definitely want to try. Flower Love

My little sister Mary, who is almost 13, makes headbands, bows, and clips for her hair out of cut material from old shirts and cheap fake flowers from the store... and they are amazing !! She is already a beauty/fashion guru in the making. I feel so inspired by her to be more creative with styling my hair, while saving a bit of money :) So here are some photos of her clips and headbands: Flower Love was inspired by a photo we saw on Pinterest*. She immediately wanted to recreate the look with a fishtail braid when we saw it because she just bought some daisies that looked quite similar. Here's me casually sitting in some grass modeling her work... (Secret: I was actually wearing boxer shorts underneath this dress and a car filled with attractive guys  drove by...
